If you’re just here for the video of Stephen and Marissa’s Christmas duet, scroll down to the bottom.
We had one last event for the year before we headed south out of Wisconsin to thaw.
We had a morning worship service at St. John’s in Valmy.
We arrived early to set up.
All set!
When the set-up is finished, we wait.
and wait…
and sometimes we wander…
and sometimes we…
grumble at our mother who wants to take our picture as a family. Shame on us for grumbling so. We should appreciate our mother more. Yes, yes we should. From now on, no more grumbling about pictures. Yeah, pictures!
From now on, all our pictures will be like this:
Okay, maybe like this:
Missing something, Mama?
Run, run, as fast as you can! You can’t catch me, I’m a…two-year-old in my mother’s shoes.
Look, Mama! Kids are so crazy!
Doe anybody have flats?
What? I’m not up to anything.
Don’t believe her, Ma!
When it’s this blustery and cold, a mama’s glad to have a willing teen to park the van for her.
Chilling.
Um, the van’s moving and you’re right here and Daddy’s singing, so…
what’s going on here?
Unicorns did it.
Oh, it’s Hannah!
Unicorns would have been better.
Steve and Marissa sang a duet together. Marissa debuted with Steve last week at St. Peter’s in Sturgeon Bay. This is her second performance.
They don’t look at all alike, do they? Whatever! They even have the same expression. The hair’s a little different, though.
Do you want to hear the father-daughter Christmas duet? Here’s a You Tube video of a practice session.
If that doesn’t work, click here to go to You Tube and see it. Of course, it’s always better in real life, but you knew that.
Absolutely love the duet!! They sounded wonderful together! Marissa is very talented, just like her Daddy! We hope to see you guys sometime. It is cold and very cold here, so enjoy your time in the south! We wish we were with you! Hugs to all!
Thanks you! 🙂 They enjoy singing together. And we enjoy watching them!
